Emma managed BP’s selection tools and process for interns and graduates in the UK and Europe for about six years before she left to start her own company. She therefore knows what organisations are looking for when employing people.
During her time with BP she also worked with many different countries to help them define and build selection processes, trips to Egypt and Iran were both enjoyable and fascinating. Emma also managed BP’s educational programmes in London and the UK, working with BP employees, children and teachers, a rewarding and fun job, which was often extremely challenging.
Emma is passionate about enabling people to secure their ideal job and through this website and other avenues is spreading the word about the skills required, how and where to get them, write and talk about them.
Having coached people throughout her career, Emma is now formalising her expertise through accreditation with the International Coaching Federation.
"My experience of career coaching with Emma has been nothing but positive. It has helped me to plan my career path effectively and uniquely and has challanged my thinking on how to present myself both on a professional and personal level. I would recommend for anyone who knows what they want from life but need a little help and guidance achieving it". Benjamin Wilde, BWT Chartered Physiotherapist.

"Hello Emma, I just wanted to say a profound ‘thank you’ for the last two coaching sessions. The impact on how I think and feel has been amazing. You have been able to demonstrate that it is possible for me to think about what I want, and that it is not only all right for me to say, but rather that saying it will help both of us to work better. Seems so basic, so obvious – but then things are, once you get them, hey? I look forward to our next session tomorrow at 8am – I have another call at 9am so will need to be prompt but I have already noticed that keeping to time is one of your skills!"

"Emma Ford, a professional Career and Life Coach, has provided my first year Physio graduates with objective guidance and career definition. Together with their on-going CPD education, Emma has given them a head start in terms of defining their future career pathway in Physiotherapy. Her continuing relationship with my juniors has been of great help to me and enabled me to concentrate in their clinical development. Thank you Emma".
